As I look over this serene setting, it’s easy to have a quiet mind and peaceful heart. The question is how to we take that into our hectic schedule filled lives? How do you?
I AM A FLOWER
From gardens bedded in time
Light seeps into the ground
And feeds the dreams of heaven.
I am a flower, born of a seed
Planted in the world’s mind.
I bloom outside the window
Of yesterday and under
The sky of today.
My inner child plays in the corridor
Of by-gone days,
Offering me a flower for today.
She smells like true love
And she is all-knowing.
With heightened anticipation,
My mind plays in hallways
Of future realizations,
Winding its way skyward
I am a flower transformed
Through my relationship
With new seeds and new minds.©
We can hold your dream for you so you too can remember
who you are and go for the “GOLD!” I feel a covenant
is “going for the GOLD” and being all we’ve come to be –
life coaching ourselves – and I feel the components
of that are LOVE, JOY, INNOCENCE, GRATITUDE,
HUMILITY – and the list goes on! Sounds to me like…
in the beginning this WAS and IS WHO and WHAT
YOU ARE and always have been!
Like an explorer, you went forth to discover this new
planet called Earth and you found both what you
needed to get to where your are this morning sitting
here in the love of God with people of like-mind
who love you…and you are safe!
So, welcome to the next step on your journey – a
“fork in the road!” You can go forward by making a new
covenant for your journey inward or you can bask in
the sun of “yesterday!” It’s your choice!!!
I have found in the quietness is my strength – so I quiet
my material senses and go within and listen to see
if my Master has any messages for me. I become a
“receiver” for the “good news” and the next step.
Robin Sharma said that the most important gift we can give
our self is the commitment to living an authentic life.
That means to be true to ourselves and live life on our
own terms – that needs to be in our covenant. ©

People are often unreasonable,
illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building,
someone could destroy overnight;
If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

We have the pleasure of having Rev. Linda McCall speaking at our center tomorrow. She has gifted us many times with her inspiring messages.
The title of her talk this Sunday is,
“It’s Your Time!”
And this week we are having chicken salad.
Yes, it’s going to be a Very good day tomorrow here at Angels Landing Spiritual Center
The Mind’s Eye.
By Karen Petersen
To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour. — William Blake
The mind’s eye dares build a dream of sand castles by some deemed impermanent, a fleeting image held capriciously against the winds of time. Time either holds us as a constricting master of the slave, scattering vital energies, or at its best it serves as a dear friend, focusing thought through distilling lens to the essence of the moment, extracting an exactness containing All, revealing a way in which to experience Eternity. Powerful creative energy fires from this single pointed Source, where dream gives birth to reality.©
